Falcon Game Notes, Changes Afoot

The Falcon two-deep is out for this week, and there are some changes.

In the most serious development, Sr. CB Robert Lorenzi has been suspended from the team but not dismissed. The Blade reports that he ran into some legal problems and was charged with assault.  Adrien Spencer will move into that spot.

First, Jordan Roussos, who was mentioned in the post-game presser by Coach Clawson (in a good way), will take Blaec Walker's spot on the line.  Roussos will actually play RT, with Tyler Donahue moving to LT.

Zak Akenberger is out for the season, so Tyler Beck is now listed as starting FB.

Trent Hurley is now listed as backup QB.

Cam Truss, Willie Geter, and Eugene Cooper were all injured at Temple but are listed in their normal depth chart positions.  The Blade says that Truss and Geter are both questionable and Cooper is probable.  Ty Pronty is in his usual spot on the depth chart.  Scott Lewis, who has yet to play this year due to injury is listed as back-up RG.

With a suspension and an injury in the defensive secondary, things get even tougher for that unit.  Luckily, Kent is not a big throwing team, but we still have greater challenges on that end of the field.  The O-line continues to be a makeshift operation.
