Benchmark Report--Rocket Edition

Here's the benchmark report for the Rocket game.  A couple observations.

UT was very good on 3rd down, maximizing their productivity.  In contrast, BG was below average, certainly something you would have not watching the game.

With those pointless (as in scoreless) drives, BG had 23 yards for every point they scored, considerably more than expected.

BG had a good running game and probably was stopped from maximizing it.  They ran only 41% of the time due to the deficit.  In fact, BG made more yards per running play than they did yards per passing play.

In contrast, UT had eye-poppingly productive passing numbers.

BG had good games on punts and kickoffs.

BG was pretty average in terms of negative passing plays and actually got above average pressure (as measured by sacks) on Owens.

Good question. That's something flickr feeds, there must be a BGSU tag on her photo.
