Past and Future Opponent Land and BG permutations

So here is what this looks like for this week.   Looking forward, here are the key games for BG this week.

On Tuesday, in the Akron-Buffalo game we would be rooting for Akron to lose that game, but I don't hold out much hope.  Things are looking poorly in Buffalo right now.

In the other game, UT plays NIU, which is probably the biggest game in the conference to date.  UT can't clinch the West with a win but they can go a long way towards it.  I think Toledo is slightly better but NIU is at home.  Should be a good one.

Then on Wednesday BG plays and with a win puts an end to scoreboard watching for the year.  In the tragic event BG loses, we would be rooting for Ball State to beat UMass in the other game.

The Saturday games bear no relevance to BG.

One last thing.  The MAC West record against the East is the same as the MAC's overall record against FCS teams...just sayin.

Western Kentucky (4-5) Rallied with 14 4th Q points to beat UTEP.
VMI (2-8) Keydets Idle
Indiana (3-6) Lost to Penn State
Wisconsin (7-2) Beat Purdue
UMass (2-7) IDLE
Buffalo (3-6) Smoked by OU
Ohio U (5-5) Smoked Buffalo
WMU (6-3) Idle
Kent (1-8) Lost to Toledo
Toledo (6-3) Beat Kent
Ball State (3-6) Lost to NIU

MAC vs. Power 5: 4-22
MAC vs. non-MAC FBS: 3-12
MAC vs. FCS: 11-2
East vs. West: West leads 12-2
