The Portal is Open
Today is the big day. BG football begins a crucial mission of finding players to create a competitive team and culture. It is Coach George's first real chance to get this set up, and I do think he's going to do it. The challenges are significant, but he knows that. He has a positive demeanor, but I wouldn't mistake that for not understanding what the challenges are.
We have about 10 reported offers today. Your man for those is the same place I go, @thetalontribune. He's grinding. Also, the spreadsheet is on the left. Once guys sign, I'll pop in to take a look at what we know about them.

Promoting Nosal to offensive coordinator is absolutely baffling, especially when teams like UB and tSUN are hiring sitting FCS head coaches and P4 QB coaches. Is that really the best we could do and is coach George's network really that limited? Still, this is a players game, and finding upgrades in this portal cycle will alleviate all concerns.
Thanks for the link to the spreadsheet. Interesting to monitor. Given a perennial D2 power is relatively close (Ferris State), I'm baffled with no offers to any of their players.
