BG Thumps Morgan State

So, one time I was driving through Columbus the day of a Buckeye.  OSU had whomped some opponent.  Despite this, the radio call in shows contained things like this...

We didn't move the ball in the 3rd Quarter, we can't stand that.
The left tackle missed a block and gave up a sack.
Etc.

In other words, thump someone and all you have is complaints.

So, I don't want to be like that.

BG thumped Morgan State 58-13 at the Doyt tonight.  It is certainly true that BG played very sloppily in spots, had some breakdowns and penalties, etc.    We have room to improve, and BG fans should continue to have cautious optimism.

Still....we won the game 58-13.  So, you know, we really shouldn't be complaining.   I haven't heard Coach's comments---more on that tomorrow--but I suspect he still sees some things we can improve on.

But, BG took on a team that was severely outgunned tonight, and we did what we needed to do, which was blow them off the field.  It wasn't really ever a game, and under those circumstances, mission accomplished.

We now have 2 wins, which is the same number as last year.  This is the most points we have scored in six seasons.
