Unconfirmed Ty Pronty Reports on AZZ.com--UPDATE, Confirmed

There are unverified reports on AZZ.com that Ty Pronty was injured in the Troy game and could be out four weeks or more. The Missouri game notes do not mention him, either on the two-deep or as a receiver in the positional previews. If true, this hurts a position where depth does not appear to be a strong point...though I thought Hodges and Hutson had some nice moments against the Trojans and I'd like to see them shine with the right opportunity. Bottom line is that the defenses will be keying on Freddie and someone stands to get some chances if they can get open and make a grab.

Note: This has been confirmed in the Sentinel. Also, AZZ.com reminds me that Derek Brighton, another WR with some game experience was injured in camp and will miss the season.
