Matt Redfield of Bishop Watterson in Columbus is set to come to BG.  His teammate, Hunter Maynard, also is in this recruiting class, a de-commit from BSU.  Redfield was the DIII co-defensive player of the year and plays LB, where he made 72 tackles.  He had a scholarship offer from Illinois State, and also reportedly was offered preferred walk-on status at OSU and MSU.  He was also a very good RB, which speaks highly of his athleticism.

I will say this...our current Coaching staff finishes strong.  In the Brandon era, I think the goal was to lock guys up early.  Our current team appears to like to fight it out for the players with lots of choices and I think a class that has potential is coming together.
