Additional Verbal

The Falcon football team has apparently picked up a late verbal, as in late last night, or as soon as the guy can find a fax machine.  It does have some significance, however.  His named is Christopher Gallon and he is from Orlando, Florida.  The Orlando Sentinel says he told them he was coming to BG over FIU, and would sign today.

It is important because he is 6'4" and a big, rangy, possession receiver.  With the speed guys we brought in yesterday, this is just a huge compliment to what we will be able to offer.  Not only does this bring the fade back into our red zone offense, but as speed guys stretch the field, this guy has the ability to sit down in the middle of the field and be open.

He is a 71 on ESPN's rankings.  Here is what the Orlando Sentinel said about him.=

Gallon thrived in Dr. Phillips’ offense this past year, logging 36 catches for 674 yards and nine touchdowns. He averaged 18.7 yards per catch and had two touchdown catches in the 6A state title game, which the Panthers lost 42-27 to Miami Central.

Dr. Phillips is the name of his HS, (*shrug*).
