A couple little news snippets

First, Patrick Nicely (Willoughby South) , one of our QB recruits, is injured and having trouble producing this year. Nothing to worry about, just FYI. This story is about his chemistry with one of his receivers.

Second, the Rasor Blog from Akron has some news:

Ryan Bain, a d-lineman is apparently suspended after making an innocent mistake with a purchase at GNC. (This is a shame. I know he probably should have asked, but seems like something anybody could have done).

The Akron kicker apparently had a bad week:

Speaking of discipline, Igor Iveljic suffered this week after his post-game comment to Joe Dunn about getting drunk to celebrate the Kent State win. Iveljic had to roll on his belly for a good 90 minutes courtesy of an angry Mack Rhoades. You might be able to find his lunch inside a trash can somewhere on campus.

Finally, Rasor feels that 5-Sr Andrew Johnson's ability to play Saturday will determine the fate of the game.

The oddsmakers have it pretty even. Its time for the Falcons to deliver a performance that is as clutch and strong as last week's was bad and sad.
