Falcons MBB has first '18 Verbal

The young man's name is Caleb Fields, and he is from New Jersey.  He's a 6'2" Combo guard who has played both 1 and 2 in his HS career.  He attends Wildwood Catholic.

He made his official visit to BG last weekend, presumably attending the FGCU game, which would have been a good advertisement for the potential there is for the Stroh to be a great place to play.

The Press first-team All-Star averaged 17.8 points and 5.5 rebounds and made 43 of his 108 3-point attempts.

Those numbers were for his junior year.  He scored 13.5 per game his sophomore year. 

Looks like somebody who can help us in the MAC.  BG has been working the Philly/Jersey area hard and this young man is looking forward to being a Falcon.  Welcome to the Falcons, Caleb!
