Johnson MAC East Defensive POTW

Congrats to Nick Johnson, the MAC East Defensive player of the week for his performance at Akron.  He certainly deserved it...

Johnson recorded nine tackles, two interceptions and three pass breakups in a 27-10 win at Akron on Tuesday night. Johnson's two interceptions bring his season total to four - tied for first in the MAC.

Johnson is making a huge impact at a true freshman.  He has played his way into the starting lineup over more experienced players and is clearly a playmaker.  Great to see it, because big plays on defense were the key to BG's win Tuesday.
