Falcons in MAC rankings...

Thought I would check in on where the Falcons are standing in the individual MAC statistical tables...stats listed below are for league games only....smaller sample, but it eliminate the variance of out of conference scheduling....

A'uston Calhoun is tied for 8th in scoring
Scott Thomas is 14th in scoring

Thomas is 3rd in rebounding
Calhoun is tied for 10th in rebounding

Jordan Crawford leads the MAC in assists, but is 8th in assist/turnover ratio

Dee Brown is 4th in FT%
Crawford is 8th in FT%

Thomas leads the MAC in steals

Thomas is 9th in 3FG%

Cam Black is 4th in blocked shots

Torain Oglesby is 4th in offensive rebounds

Thomas is second in minutes played.
Crawford is 6th in minutes....
Brown is tied for 7th.

Now, those are the mainstream stats....if you are interested in some tempo-based stuff...

Scott Thomas is 6th in Effective Field Goal %.

A'uston Calhoun is 16th in possessions used.

(This is important, actually. Not to digress, but last year he was 5th in the MAC and 40th in the country.  Now, you might observe that his scoring is only up a little from last year, but he is doing it while using fewer possessions, which is helpful to the team.  His offensive rating went from .95 to 1.04.)

No Falcon is rated in the top 20 in offensive rating (points per possession).
