Today in the MAC

Today is the first chance we get to find out something about the MAC....though, we're just getting started.

Ball State and CMU, two of the West's best teams, are playing on the road. BSU should win at Akron, but CMU could have a tough day if OU looks as strong as they did last week in the Shoe.

And, how improved is EMU? And, how weak is Toledo? They're playing in Ypsi today in what is a driving raining at this hour. Also, an interesting result.

Finally, (I forgot), Buffalo and Temple, two teams with the potential to compete in the MAC, who may be on an upward trajectory....or not.

Conference football is such a closed circuit. Either we play someone or someone we are competing does.

Anyway, it will be interesting to see....
