I am blessed to announce that I will be taking advantage of my extra year of eligibility, and pursuing my master’s degree at Bowling Green State University 🟠🟤 pic.twitter.com/BPVgqCLrMx

BG MBB picked up its second D1 transfer, this one a D1 transfer who will be eligible next year. His name is Myron Gordon. Gordon is a 6'3" G from New Jersey who played at Samford.
Prior to coming to Samford he was a JUCO player who scored 23 a game. Last year at Samford he led the team with 15PPG scoring coming mostly off the bench and playing 25 minutes a game. He shot 47% overall and 32% from 3FG.
He only played in 10 games and did not play after January 14. He did score 29 against Georgia when Samford nearly upset UGA in Bulldog-on-Bulldog action.
He is among six Samford players in the portal. Jermaine Marshall, breaker of Falcon hears in the MAC tourney, is actually heading TO Samford.
Also, I saw that Nelly Cummings is in the portal, leaving Colgate.
There are just shy of 1,300 players in the portal right now.

I thought the portal was the singular thing to destroy college athletics until UCF decided they're going to put Twitter handles on the back of players jerseys in lieu of names.
