Holmes MAC East Player of the Week

Congrats to Richaun Holmes for being named the MAC East Player of the Week.  Richaun had very big games against WKU and against Xavier.  In only his 2nd year as a D1 player, Holmes is really bringing his game around as a starter this year.  He's a Junior by eligibility, and clearly has a huge upside talent-wise and provides the team with length they would not have otherwise.  Looking forward to watching Holmes develop his skills more...not that he's going to score like this everytime out, but who knows?  Anyway, congrats.

Holmes had back-to-back career-best scoring games for the Falcons last week. He scored 18 points and added seven rebounds and five blocked shots in BG's win over Western Kentucky Dec. 2, then scored 26 points to go with nine rebounds and five blocks in an overtime loss at Xavier Saturday.
