Cast of Honor--Anthony Stacy

Anthony Stacy is being inducted into the men's basketball Cast of Honor according to BGSU.

To refresh our memory, the Cast of Honor was the result of an Athletic Department study to determine how to honor past players.  I think the idea was to get something more inclusive than retiring numbers but that allowed us to honor our great players.

Stacy certainly qualifies.  He's our all-time scoring leader and #7 in rebounds.  He also holds the school record for steals.  He was a MAC POY, etc.  You can click the link for a full bio.

He also played overseas for a number of years and now is the Head Coach at Medina HS.

He would have been in the original "Cast of Honor" but the rules say you have to be 10 years away from graduation, and he was not quite there.

He will be honored at a men's basketball game TBA.
