MAC Report Online has its basketball awards up

MAC Report Online has his take on the post-season awards. He picks Reggie Witherspoon as Coach of the year, which is a reasonable pick, even though I don't happen to agree with it.

Here, Reggie takes a somewhat comical victory lap after being "named" Coach of the Year.

“It’s an honor to be named Coach of the Year," said Witherspoon. "Although the credit should go to our players. This year we’ve taken a step we’ve never taken. We’ve never been co-champs, we’ve never gotten a bye. We have gone through some difficult times. Sometimes you take some punches and you hit back and sometimes you take a few steps backwards to take three or four steps forward. I’m proud of our guys for persevering.”
