MAC SCENARIOS

Heading into Thursday's MAC East games, four teams sit within one game
of first place in the division.

Based on the results of the games that evening, here is what it means to Bowling Green:

A BGSU win, a Buffalo win, and either Akron/Ohio win

BGSU would remain tied with Buffalo at the top of the MAC standings and would clinch no worse than a No. 3 seed for theMAC Tournament.

A BGSU win, a Kent State win, and either Akron/Ohio win

BGSU would clinch at least a share of the conference championship and the No. 1 seed for the MAC Tournament.

A BGSU loss, a Buffalo win, and either Akron/Ohio win

BGSU would be tied for second in the MAC standings and would clinch no worse than a No. 5 seed for the MAC Tournament.

A BGSU loss, a Kent State win, and either Akron/Ohio win

BGSU would be tied for second in the MAC standings and would clinch no worse than a No. 6 seed for the MAC Tournament.
