Brief Hoops Interlude

Ron Musselman of The Blade tells the story of Dan Dakich's visit to Coach Knight in Lubbock. Coach Knight is a mentor to Dan Dakich, and they had not seen each other for some time. There were rumors that Knight had kicked Dan off the island over what was perceived as a less than stellar defense during the Reed saga. Who knows. It is an interesting story.

I like Dan Dakich, and the fact that he likes Knight makes me like him more than I would have. Note the advice to a coach in the last year of his deal.
