MBB on the Road for MAC Tourney

Sigh.  Well, BG ended up oh-so-close to a home game at the Stroh, but it did not happen.  CMU beat WMU to move into a tie with BG and CMU gets the tiebreaker and BG will travel to Mt. Pleasant on Monday.

Pretty disappointing.  BG lost 5 straight to end the season.  Any one of those games would have clinched home court.  In the same vein, BG lost to CMU at home to tilt the tiebreaker that direction.  A win in that one and BG's at home, too.

That's a 9th place finish.  Hopefully, we are on the rebound.  There were times this year when you thought we were and times where we weren't for sure.  More on that when we look back at the season.

BG won an away tourney game in Huger's first year before advancing to the semis.  Last year BG lost @UT in the first round.

BG is 16-15 now.  A loss on Monday would leave us 16-16 and without a winning season (or a losing season).  One win and BG gets to the top half of the ledger, although I don't know what would happen with a post-post season tourney.
