Jinks Presser: Package Expansion

So Coach Jinks had his presser today.  Not too much newsworthy...obviously, he has to talk about his QB and that did come up.

Doege threw today.  They will decide by tomorrow if he can go, which he will only do at 100%.
If he cannot, then Grant Loy will have an "expanded package" on Saturday (the mere possibility of which might explain our recruiting success).  You will see Loy playing more at the expense of Morgan.

He noted that OU adapted to stop BG's run with 9 in the box.  He says NIU will start that way and BG will need to throw from the very beginning.  NIU leads the conference in run defense and they are not going to let BG get rolling on the ground.

Morgan was out practicing his long balls during the presser.

Redding is questionable for Saturday.
