1. Who should get the awards: Offensive Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, Special Teams Player of the Year, Freshman of the Year, and Coach of the Year?

Offensive: Hunt, UT
Defensive: Rollins, Miami
Special Teams: Secor, BSU
Freshman: Franklin, WMU
Coach: Fleck

The only one I don't feel good about is defensive player. Rollins had 7 INT and a bunch of breakups. He plays for a bad team. Most of the tackle leaders are from lower-ranked teams where they are just on the field a lot more. There is no clear sack leader. I'm open to hearing if someone else is better.

2. Predict the championship game outcome.

Yeah, this is an awkward one. Obviously, I'll be rooting like crazy for our Falcons. NIU is not the team they were last year, but neither are we. BG comes into the game playing very poorly after a very average season (so far). Coach has said he has to spend the week fixing "everything" and that seems like a tall order for one week. If BG wins, I'll be very surprised. Pleasantly surprised, but surprised.  (I was also sure WMU would beat NIU...so, really, it was nice of you to ask and all....)

3. Predict the MAC bowl invitations. If you want to get crazy, predict the opponents.
