Sweet News!! Jones Claimed by Bucs

According to various Twitter media sources, #BGSU alum Chris Jones has been claimed off waivers by the Tampa Bay Bucs! Congrats, Chris!

Chris Jones was released by the Texans, who wanted him on the practice squad, based on reports.  He has to clear waivers for that to happen, and it didn't.  Chris was claimed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to internet sources.  I haven't seen anything official, but this is great news for Chris.  It means he will start the NFL season on a 53-man roster and it means he did enough in his collegiate career and in the time he played for Houston to draw the attention of the Bucs.

Great Job Chris.  Go get 'em.
