Samuel MAC East POY

For his career best performance in Athens last week, the MAC has named Anthon Samuel the MAC East Offensive Player of the Week.

Anthon Samuel has been named MAC East Offensive Player of the Week, announced this afternoon by the Mid-American Conference office. Samuel, a sophomore from Opa Locka, Fla., rushed for 181 yards on 29 carries in the Falcons 26-14 win over Ohio on Wednesday night. Both his rushes and rushing yards from Wednesday night were career-highs for Samuel. He also added two touchdowns in that crucial MAC matchup
