East Carolina Vacancy

There have been little rumors bouncing around about this, but here is the first thing I have seen with some teeth to it.  The leading candidate at ECU is David Stockstill of Middle Tennessee State, and I have seen reports that he was offered the job.

The other candidate is Dave Clawson, according to this media report from Nashville.

I know it's only a matter of time until Clawson moves to a higher paying job in an elite conference and I'm ready for it.

Saying that, I would be very disappointed if he even interviewed for this position.

There are only two ways a coach leaves our program. They either succeed and head for greener pastures or they lose and are fired. I'll always take the former.

If he had left/or leaves after one season, I'd be very disappointed too.

Well, let's hope it is only a matter of time before he leaves for a higher paying job, but let's say he does leave? Who does BG look to? Would it be that crazy/out there if Brandon just returned? Weirder things have happened. :/

Jake, I think you can safely assume that is one thing that won't happen.
