BG has landed a 2020 football verbal, and it is an interesting guy.  His name is Gabe Brown, and he's a guard from East Kentwood, MI.  The interesting part is that he has only been playing football for one year.  Before that, he was being recruited as a baseball player.  He had offers from WMU and BG, along with what 247 said were "numerous offers from other schools and preferred walk-on opportunities with Power 5 programs."

He's 6'4" and 300 pounds, so that obviously helps, but it certainly appears that he showed ability and athleticism in that one year.
