Adventures in Former Opponent Land...

With the end of the regular Saturday schedule, this feature is a little less interesting.  And I am sure that 100% here know that UT lost to NIU Tuesday in what was a very impressive performance by NIU.

In past opponent land...some of our former opponents are hitting their stride.

Troy lost 52-35 at home to Florida International.  Troy is now unlikely to win the Sun Belt this year, and is 5-4, still looking for bowl eligibility.  There are no bowl eligible team in the conference.

Marshall won their third straight game to move to 4-6 by beating a pitiful Memphis team.  (That program really fell fast).  They are getting a lot better play out of Brian Anderson than they did at the Doyt.

Tulsa won its fourth straight game with a 28-25 win at Houston.  They are 7-3 and should be in a bowl game.  They are tied for the division lead in C-USA with SMU.  SMU beat Tulsa, but if the Golden Hurricane can get some help from Marshall, they could still make the title game.

Michigan beat Purdue.  I'm sure you heard.
