Football Update

A little bit of news from the Football program.

First, the football presser had taken a new turn.  Before the current coach, they were generally undertaken with great seriousness.  Now...not so much.

For example, after the game Saturday, Coach George flummoxed an AP reporter by jokingly confronting him about jinxing BG's zero turnovers to date.

Monday, it started with an answer about how he liked his months at the Best Western.  He mentioned their amazing waffles, which are apparently served in the lobby.

A reporter asked what his Waffle House order was.  He had one...two waffles, scrambled eggs and cheese, grits, and Texas Toast.  (He's a big guy).

Then...he asked the reporter what his favorite order was.  Equally flummoxed, he blurted out that it was chocolate chip pancakes.

George raised his eyes and said, "Huh.  I was thinking buttermilk for you."

Anyway.

Other news is that @talontribune reported that Chris McMillan did not play Saturday due to a personal issue and is expected to be back in action Saturday.
