Johnson-Mack moved to DB

So, we're a little behind the curve on this one, but the big news from the season ticket scrimmage last week, as reported by NickP, was that Isaiah Johnson-Mack was moved from WR to CB.

BG's trying to patch together a defense of some kind this year, and they were hit hard at CB.  It's tough all around...BG started as 9th in pass efficiency defense in the MAC last year, and then lost some guys to graduation and then some more to transfers.  We didn't give up a ton of yards because it was so easy to run on us, but the pass defense struggled as well.

What's interesting about it being Johnson-Mack is that he was actually a productive WR at Washington State.  And, at BG, WR is better than CB, but not a position where we were exactly stacked, either.  There has been some reporting that Noah Massey could be breaking out, and that might have given them the flexibility to make this move.  Morris and Marlow were back.  But, based on what we have seen, we are thin at WR, too and have questions about who is throwing the passes, too.

We're just a couple weeks away!
