Brandon Harris is MAC East DEFENSIVE Player of the week

Wait, what?

A BG player won MAC East Defensive Player of the Week?

I checked.  It is true.

Even better, it is a true freshman who has been increasing his playing time for a while and earned his first start in Muncie...Brandon Harris.  He's from Cleveland and was recruited as an ATH, whick makes it all the more remarkable that he is having success at a position like LB so early in his career.  Great job, Brandon.
Bowling Green freshman linebacker Brandon Harris (Cleveland, Ohio) made the first start of his career on Nov. 24 at Ball State, leading the Falcons' defensively in a dominating 48-10 win on the road. Harris totaled a career-high 11 tackles and also added a team-high 2.0 tackles for loss in the contest. The Falcons, behind Harris' efforts, held the Cardinals to 2.9 yards per carry, and 3.4 yards per play.
