ICSTR--Rain Soaked Edition.

Here's the last wrap up from the Akron game...the report from the ICSTR.  Special teams are tough to evaluate from a game like that because of the ridiculous wind.  Punts can look great or poor on paper...but be right for conditions.  Nonetheless, the ICSTR is weather-agnostic (!), so let's look at the results.

BG had another good game...and Akron did as well.  In fact, Akron had no negative special teams plays.  There were no major plays--no turnovers or TDs.

BG was +5...that's 3 touchbacks on kickoffs, a 45 yard FG and four big punts, balanced against a poor KO return, a poorly defended KO return and two poor punts.  Akron ended up +7 on a similar collection of plays.
