This is what it feels like.

Lots more to come tomorrow....actually, later today.  It is late.

But this is what it feels like.

So many good feelings.  I'm so proud of our team, guys who kept working when things were bad, guys who looked around and took stock after the Toledo game and essentially were never challenged again for the remainder of the season.

So proud of our Coaches for doing things the right way, for building a team concept, for taking a long term approach to building a program.

So proud of the team for their performance in the big game.  They took a team that no one thought they could beat and completely dominated them.  This was a team all but ticketed for a BCS bowl...and BG beat them handily.

So proud of our fans.  Great turn out tonight, and the best and most energetic crowd I remember as a Falcon fan.  It was a great night for the Falcon Nation, and I'm so happy everyone got to enjoy it.

There have been so many disappointments over the years, so many times when the team was one play short or one game short.  It has been 21 years...and this is what victory feels like.

Seeing our Coach take that trophy, having the players come over and celebrate with the fans, and then the Ay-Ziggy-Zoomba with the band...unforgettable...they have absolutely earned it and it was great that we could celebrate with them.

Coach said on his first day as Falcon coach that every player should leave with a diploma in one hand and a championship ring in the other.  That's the philosophy we need and there's about 100 guys out there who have one of those hands taken care of.

I know there's talk about Coach leaving.  If that's what he wants, he's earned it.  He did something Urban Meyer never did...bring a MAC title home to the Doyt.

So, thank you to the players and the coaches whose hard work and commitment allowed us to feel so good tonight.  Thank you.
