Men's Basketball Schedule is released.....

The men's basketball schedule has been released for this winter....here are a couple things

First, and most significantly, the MAC is going to an 18 game conference schedule.  I 100% endorse this plan.  It is hard enough to get out of conference games scheduled and it is even harder to get them at home...so it makes sense to take two dates that would have likely resulted in something meh and put it toward a game in the conference.

The biggest implication of that is that BG will now play UT twice, which it has not since the MAC went to a 16-game conference schedule.  This year it might not be great for us, but in general it is good for business and good for fans.

There are actually a couple nice home games. WKU always has a strong team and they are coming in and South Florida is in a major conference and they will be in the Stroh as well.

BG has only one game with a non-D1 team.  As I have said before, as far as I am concerned every team should play one and no more.

North Dakota will still not have a nickname.

We start our conference season off at home with 3 games that should be winnable.  We're going to need those wins.

Two home games in November, 3 in December, not too bad.

Over 3 days we will play @Wisconsin and @St. Louis...tough stretch, that.

Anyway, here is the scoop...
