Clawson's Presser, Black Friday edition, plus Boo Boo

Presser was a day early this week due to the Friday game....not much newsworthy was said.

Most of the questions were about the game in Columbus and how Coach felt about it.  He said, first of all that it is not a home game and we are treating it like a road game.  No Coach ever wants to give up a home game, but that we knew if we played at the Doyt on Friday we would have had a poor crowd and therefore we went out and proactively tried to find something else.

His view is that it is worth a try, if it works you have these games every other year and maybe it can be done in the future.

The question I would have asked was whether he would have felt differently if the game had been important in the standings.

Anyway, he talked about the Kent game, said that we needed to bring our "A" game and we did not.  It took a couple of days for our team to get their momentum back after the loss, but by today in practiced they seemed to be in pretty good shape.

Finally, he had a lot to say about Buffalo.  They are 4-7 but (wait for it) they are a lot better than their record.  We will look at it in 25 questions, but he notes they played a very tough schedule and played a bunch of teams really tough, which actually sounds a little bit like the Falcons last year.

One note...Brandon Oliver, their RB, is questionable for the game.  From what I saw (not from Coach), it doesn't sound good, but we will just have to wait and see.

Falcon Fodder also had the BGSU injury report.  The good news is that Boo Boo Gates is "probable" for the Buffalo game.  In fact, the only played who is being watched is CB Darrell Hunter, who is questionable.  Je'Ron Stokes will be available, as will Anthony Farinella.
