If you get a chance to listen, you should. He's an articulate young man and has good things to say about BGSU. He doesn't close the door completely, which is normal and honest. If a BCS school came calling, anyone would expect him to listen.
Logan Larson carried Pleasant Plains High School to its first playoff win in the 10-year existence of its football program Friday night as the Cardinals beat Auburn 34-21 in the first round of the Class 3A postseason. It was only the second playoff game for Plains, which also qualified in 2008. It was the second time this season Plains has beaten the Trojans. The Cardinals won at home 39-21 in Week One. Larson, a 6-foot-4, 250-pound running back who is headed to Bowling Green State University on scholarship, gained 179 yards on 22 carries. He also scored for two touchdowns, the second a 50-yarder with great downfield blocking that sealed the win with 1 minute 59 seconds left.
