Benchmark Report...

So here we have the benchmarks from the Kent game....not a very pretty picture, though not as ugly as it should be.  What you see on the Kent side are numbers that are relatively consistent with MAC averages...except they are twice as high as their season averages, which is why it is so disappointing.  Also, they were neither sacked nor intercepted, and while they didn't get huge yards, they completed passes at a high percentage.  Finally, they were good in the red zone...

Which BG was not.  As you can see, BG also failed to run the ball and while BG racked up huge passing yards on big plays, the consistency was not there--on a per attempt basis Kent actually did better.

Neither team was good on 3rd down.
