Ball State Preview in Muncie Paper

Here's the pre-game story from the Muncie Star Press....a few interesting points.

First, the storyline in virtually every pre-game story for BG is our 2-3 zone.  The story says BSU has fallen into the habit in the past of just passing the ball around the perimeter against a zone, which is not the way to attack it. The teams that slice us apart do it from the high post.

Second, Jauwan Scaife is hot from 3--11 of 17 in his last two games.

Finally, they had some interesting quotes from Scott Thomas.  To wit:

"We feel like Western (Michigan) came in and kind of out-toughed us," said Thomas, who tops Bowling Green in points (12.0) and rebounds per game (6.8). "We take pride in our toughness, so it's about toughness in our next game."

I expect us to come up and play with a purpose tonight after the setback on Saturday.  I think it has the potential to be a very interesting game.
