ICSTR
Given the half-a-bye week, the ICSTR took some time off to regroup and, well, frankly, not do a damn thing. Anyway, they have gotten around to analyzing the CMU results, and here is what they came up with.
(To see what this is all about, click here for the initial post giving our scoring system, etc).
Bowling Green had its first positive game since the Marshall game, although it was only a +1. On the good since, since there was not a return TD, the result consisted of more good plays and no catastrophic plays. BG got points for a kickoff touchbak, a 52 yard net punt, a 45 yard net punt, and a punt inside the 20. We lost points for a KO return to the 17, a penalty on a punt with a 49 yard net to start with, and a 25 yard net punt. We had a couple punts between 25 and 29, which are currently, using the scoring system, not deducted, but the ICSTR has that on its agenda to review.
CMU was +2. They also had no big plays, though they did stick a punt inside the 10.
Here's how the season's reporting looks.
