Another defeat on last play of the game....

Something about playing Miami must bring on the crazy weather.  We went from the Mud Bowl to the Fog Bowl.  By the end of the game, it was impossible to see the play on the field from the stands.  I'll have much more tomorrow, including pics from the stands.

BG almost pulled it off.  When we got the fumble in the fourth--even with the penalty--we are in good position to go in to score.  But, from that point on our offense completely self-destructed, and we lost 20 yards or so, then got a second shot after the D got a stop, and threw an interception on the very first play.

It is hard to argue we were the better team, though.  Coach Clawson in his presser called it "bad football."  We are not young anymore, this is game 10.  Just "bad football."  We squandered scoring opportunities, struggled to move the ball, and had a critical breakdown on a punt snap that cost the team a TD.

Also, I have had numerous reports that the interception for Miami hit the ground, but haven't seen an actual replay myself.

Again, more tomorrow.  For now, another last play defeat in a wild night....but one where we certainly didn't represent ourselves well.
