Falcons Announce Early Men's Basketball Signees

The early signing period opened today for basketball, and the Falcons announced the two names we expected them to announce:

• Craig Sealey of Columbus Brookhaven
• Cameron Black of Kent

These both look like really good players.

Sealey is 6'6" and plays on the wing.  He gives us length we really need on the outside.  Here is what Coach Orr had to say...

 “He is the ultimate slasher and offensive rebounder and has as big an upside as anyone in our program. He is an improved shooter and brings a ton of energy and athleticism to our team.

Black is 6'10" and would be expected to take Otis' spot in the middle. He is a coach's son, and we all know how much we like to see that. He has been a special stud on the defensive end, and is a good shot blocker and rebounder.

Both of these players were highly ranked by the recruiting services, for whatever that is worth. They are exactly the kind of players that we didn't seem to be getting for so long.  They are athletic and they have size.  I believe they join the class which is just starting now as having serious MAC Title potential.
