CBSSports.com Blog Poll Week 2

So week 2 of the blogpoll is out. Apparently, the mainstream polls are refusing to put USC ahead of Texas. This mystifies me.

At this point, there is always tension between what has happened this year and what you thought going. For example, based on this season, USC has to be ahead of Florida. So do bunches of teams. But, until you get to week 6 or so, the real patterns of THIS season don't begin to become clear, and the rankings (at least as I see them) are an amalgamation of what was expected and what has been done. There will be plenty of time to find out if Florida has it or not. For right now, I think they are better than USC, and the OSU only reinforced that notion, in fact.
