Another Falcon Football Verbal, this one a ranked QB

Matt Schilz, who hails from Pasadena, has indicated his intention to attend Bowling Green. As I always say, these young men are hard to project, but it would appear that this guy is the real deal.

He was a verbal to Kansas State, but left there when Bill Snyder returned and said he wanted dual-threat QBs.

Scouts has a very nice write up on him,
and he appears to be a really gifted QB and a great fit for us. One interesting thing of note...he is 6'2" dropback passer, though he does have the ability to move around in the pocket, according to the write up.

He is coming off a serious injury his senior year.

Welcome to the Falcons, Matt.

By the by, it does fit with another rumor that has been around that Warren Ruggierio, the QB Coach at K-State, is slated to be our offensive coordinator.
